What to do in Florida?

Need to get away, but not too far away?  Well Brevard Youth Sports has just the thing for you.  Maybe.  This page will contain quite a bit of information and will always be growing.  Once a month (maybe more, maybe less) we will post a review of a location that was visited recently and post some photos of the visit.  There is no telling where we may end up, but rest assured that we will let you in on the experience!  We will also post a monthly secret Disney Tip since there might be more than one or two visitors to the site that would like an Insider's Tip when they travel over to the Mouse House.  Don't forget to check out our Campground Review Page for reviews from campgrounds around the state.  Keep scrolling down the page as this page will be updated a few times a week with new information.

Gotta get away?  Go camping!  Check out our Campground Review Page as the gang heads to a different campground every month.

Disney Tip of the Month for September 2008

Disney has a great program for families that cannot ride particular rides at the same time (Maybe one of the kids is not quite tall enough for a ride or one of the kids just doesn't want to go on the ride).  Mom can take the child that wants to go on the ride while Dad hangs out with the other child.  Mom can ask one of the ride operators for a "Ride Swap Pass" and Dad will be able to skip the line after Mom gets back.  Plus the child that likes the ride gets to enjoy it twice!  This program comes in handy for us every trip since our son Ethan is up for any ride, but our younger daughter Amber does not like some of the bigger rides (Splash, Thunder, and Space Mountain's to be specific).  Now one of us can take Amber to the little play are under Thunder Mountain while the other one goes with Ethan for a ride on Splash and Thunder Mountain's then we know that both of us will still be able to ride each attraction.  We have found that while one of us is riding Space Mountain with Ethan that taking a ride on the People Mover otherwise known as the Transit Authority is a great way to pass time with Amber.

Don't forget that the International Food and Wine Festival @ Epcot begins September 26th and runs through November 9th.  Enjoy even more food from around the world as carts are set up throughout World Showcase featuring sample portions of food and wine from many different countries.  Look for a "What to do Review" in October from one of our favorite local events.
