High School Students how would you like to get some school credit for providing weekly sports recaps for your school? Beginning at the start of the 2008-09 school year we will be contacting every high school from Viera to Bayside to look for a few volunteers from each school. We will also be looking for students to provide a few photos from their school every now and then. Your work will be seen by thousands of viewers each month as you add to your professional resume. To show our appreciation we will host a Career Night during the year where every intern as well as coaches and faculty will be invited to hear about sports reporting and sports photography from several professional writers and photographers. Check back in August as we will be putting the final touches on a bunch of new features on this page.

Where has summer gone?? In one month we will be back out covering ALL high school sporting events and we are looking forward to working with our interns as they showcase their writing and photography skills. Once we all get back in the swing of things check back often as our High School Sports section will be changing on a daily basis. Some things we have in store for this year are; more in depth coverage, video, bigger photo galleries, weekly updates from each school (A Career Day seminar is in the works for all the students that help out next year), plus every school will have it's own page on the site where students and parents will be able to send in their photos.
